Our Story

The love for good food, perhaps accompanied by a good glass of red wine, was visible at first sight for those who had the pleasure of meeting Alessandro Micheli, better known as "Garibaldi".

Such was his passion that in 1970 a small trattoria was born just out of Rome. In the first years of life, the restaurant was often a meeting place for many truck drivers who, arriving at the gates of Rome, stopped at "Garibaldi" for a simple but substantial meal. Over the years the restaurant has often changed form and service attracting more and more loyal customers from the city.

Despite the inevitable changes, the Micheli family still seeks, after more than 40 years of activity, to re-propose the atmosphere of the past with simplicity and tradition.
